Sunday AM

We gather each Sunday at 10:45am. Feel free to come as you are. You can expect to have lots of fun connecting with new people and be encouraged by relevant teaching. Come early and join us in our Welcome Center where we brew fresh blends from The Bean Cycle and offer bagels and pasties from Panera Bread!

All first time visitors receive a free gift (we want you to be surprised, but part of the gift is a coupon to The Bean Cycle!). Our worship gatherings are planned to help us encounter the living Christ. There are different elements in our gatherings that help us do that. They are as follows:

Singing

Music is a beautiful expression of our praise to God. We use music to help us interact with our Creator. Through the songs we seek to express ourselves to God. We praise, we confess, we adore, we honor God by expressing ourselves honestly before Him.

Call to Worship

This is a time at the beginning of our services to help us focus on why we have gathered. During this time we invite God to speak to us through our worship.

Preaching

Each week we listen in order to learn and apply God’s truth to our lives. The teaching seeks to encourage us and challenge us from God’s Word. While there is a preacher each week, we believe it is God who speaks through the preacher to us.

Communion

Communion is a sacrament. A sacrament is a physical representation of a spiritual reality. We celebrate communion each week in order to remember Christ’s broken body and shed blood for us. Taking communion is spiritual nourishment for us. We practice an open communion so anyone who follows Christ is invited to participate with us. If you unsure about participating please feel no pressure to join in. If you choose not to participate we recommend using this time for reflection.

Offering

Money is a big part of our world. Since we are seeking to give our whole selves over to God we include financial offerings as part of our worship. All that we have is a gift from God, so giving back to him is a way of recognizing that our money is not ours to begin with. Giving also makes us more like Christ because Christ himself is a giver. God calls us to live lives of generosity.

Benediction

At the close of our service each week we sing a song entitled “Take to the World” as a benediction. This song reminds us that we are not to keep God’s love to ourselves, but go out and share it with others in practical ways. It is a final blessing over our community before we go about our responsibilities for the week.
