Sunday AM

Sunday AM

We gather each Sunday at 10:45am. Come as you are. Come Expectantly. Expect to have fun. Expect to be encouraged by relevant teaching. Expect to meet Christ with us. Expect to connect with new faces and old friends. Come early. Have a cup of coffee or a bagel from Panera Bread Company.

All first time visitors receive a free gift. Our worship gatherings are planned to help us encounter the living Christ. There are different elements in our gatherings that help us do that, including:

Singing

Music is a beautiful expression of our praise to God. We use music to help us interact with our Creator and seek to express ourselves to Him. We praise, we confess, we adore, we honor God by expressing ourselves honestly before Him through song.

Preaching

Each week, we listen as the preacher teaches from the Bible in order to learn and apply God’s truth to our lives. The teaching seeks to encourage and challenge us from God’s Word. While there is a preacher each week, we believe it is always God who speaks through the preacher to us.

Communion

Communion is a sacrament, or a physical representation of a spiritual reality. We celebrate communion every week to remember Christ’s broken body and shed blood for our sins. We practice an open communion, so anyone who follows Christ is invited to participate with us. If you unsure about participating, please don’t feel any pressure to join in, simply use this time for reflection instead.

Offering

Since we are seeking to give our whole selves over to God we include financial offerings as part of our worship. All that we have is a gift from God, so giving back to him is a way of recognizing that our money is not ours to begin with. Giving also makes us more like Christ because Christ himself is a giver. God calls us to live lives of generosity and giving of our tithes is part of answering that call.
