1.Scriptural Relevance (1 Peter 1:23; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The Bible is God’s Word for all generations, relevant to everyone, in all cultures, in all times. The best way to demonstrate scriptural relevance is through biblical preaching and teaching because God’s Word is inherently relevant to all people.

2. Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13; Nehemiah 1:4; Psalm 6:9)

Communing with God through prayer is an essential part of the Christian journey. Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. God has given us confidence that He hears and answers our prayers. We feel called to praise God in prayer, pray for His will to be done, for needs to be met, for forgiveness and for His protection.

3. Discipleship (Luke 5:10b-11; Matthew 28:16-20)

The essence of discipleship is following Jesus wholeheartedly. All Christians are called to become disciples through spiritual growth and in turn, go and make disciples.

4. Authentic Relationships (Acts 2:44-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-26; 1 Samuel 18:1)

The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Christian growth happens best in deep relationship with God and one another. We value each person as created in God’s image compelling us to know each other well so together we share hurts and joys in authentic community.

5. Lifestyle Worship (Psalm 29:2; Matthew 4:10; 10:7)

Worship has no boundaries in our life. As we live out our relationship with Christ our very life is to become an act of worship to Him. We worship best when we live not according to this world, but according to the ways of God’s Kingdom, and live out our role in God’s story.

6. Stewardship (Malachi 3:10; Nehemiah 10:35; 2 Corinthians 8:7)

Everything we have is a gift from God. This compels us to manage our time, talents, and treasures with care through financial responsibility, using our gifts and time in God’s ministry. God has also called Christians to care for the poor and disenfranchised. As a church, we seek to be obedient to His call.

7. Practical Outreach (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:16-20)

Jesus ministered to people by meeting physical, everyday needs. As a church we seek to build redemptive relationships with people in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and circles of influence by showing God’s love in practical and tangible ways.
